Day 1 |
Pokhara - Nayapul - Modi Khola
Drive to Nayapul, the starting point of our rafting tour. The coach departs at 7:00 AM from Pokhara. Upon arrival, help the crew to unload the equipment and receive a full safety briefing. After lunch, walk to the river where we begin the exciting 3-day rafting adventure.
Intitially, we warm up through several Class 3 rapids. A couple of hours later, we shall get through 2 tough class 4 rapids.
Later, we arrive at the Modi Khola confluence where we shall fix a suitable spot for camping. You can play volleyball or simply relax and enjoy the views. |
|
Day 2 |
Modi Khola - Purti Ghat.
We wake up early in the morning and shortly afterwards pack up the tent and prepare for rafting again. We head for Purti Ghat, our next stopover and enjoy spectacular scenery of Annapurna I and Himchuli peaks on the way. Today we will encounter several Class III sections as well as the challenging Class IV section. After arrving at Purti Ghat, we shall decide where to set up our camp. Above us lies the village of Purti Ghat. |
|
Day 3 |
Purti Ghat - Mirme - Pokhara
After packing up and making necessary preparations, we resume our journey early in the morning. Soon we will arrive at a confluence called Seti Beni, where the river has deposited a big boulder considered as a Hindu shrine. We are likely to be greeted by a crowd of locals as we carefully make our way through the rapid formed around this holy place. We shall paddle a little longer until we arrive at Mirme, where our rafting trip is concluded. We pack up our stuff, have lunch and ride a bus back to Pokhara. The 105 km drive takes about 5 hours. |

The trips on this site have been listed as they are the most popular within the
associated regions. If you have heard of a trip that is not listed, or want to spend
less (or more) time in a particular area then let us know.
-
Although detailed itineraries are provided for all of the trips on this site they
are by no means set in stone. The itineraries act as a rough guide so you are welcome
to walk a bit more or less on any day you choose.
-
You are also welcome to extend the trip at any point if you would like to spend
a bit more time in a particular area. The cost for extension is around £15-£25 per
day depending on the particular area and nature of the trip. Unfortunately, we are
unable to refund a trip that has been shortened but you are welcome to let us know
before hand and the price will be reduced accordingly. The extra days can always
be spent sightseeing in Kathmandu or Pokhara with your guide.
-
Similarly, if you would prefer to upgrade or downgrade your hotel or transport then
this is also possible. For example you may change a bus journey to a flight, or
stay in a cheaper hotel to save some cash. Extra cost will apply based on the price
difference. All of this is can be arranged upon your arrival in Nepal or if you
would like to arrange it before then just let us know.
-
If, at the end of the trip, you would like to do another adventure then all you
have to do is arrange it with the guides in Nepal.
