Day 1 Pokhara - Nayapul - Modi Khola Drive to Nayapul, the starting point of our rafting tour. The coach departs at 7:00 AM from Pokhara. Upon arrival, help the crew to unload the equipment and receive a full safety briefing. After lunch, walk to the river where we begin the exciting 3-day rafting adventure. Intitially, we warm up through several Class 3 rapids. A couple of hours later, we shall get through 2 tough class 4 rapids. Later, we arrive at the Modi Khola confluence where we shall fix a suitable spot for camping. You can play volleyball or simply relax and enjoy the views.
Day 2 Modi Khola - Purti Ghat. We wake up early in the morning and shortly afterwards pack up the tent and prepare for rafting again. We head for Purti Ghat, our next stopover and enjoy spectacular scenery of Annapurna I and Himchuli peaks on the way. Today we will encounter several Class III sections as well as the challenging Class IV section. After arrving at Purti Ghat, we shall decide where to set up our camp. Above us lies the village of Purti Ghat.
Day 3 Purti Ghat - Mirme - Pokhara After packing up and making necessary preparations, we resume our journey early in the morning. Soon we will arrive at a confluence called Seti Beni, where the river has deposited a big boulder considered as a Hindu shrine. We are likely to be greeted by a crowd of locals as we carefully make our way through the rapid formed around this holy place. We shall paddle a little longer until we arrive at Mirme, where our rafting trip is concluded. We pack up our stuff, have lunch and ride a bus back to Pokhara. The 105 km drive takes about 5 hours.
